About Me

Psychologist Family Therapist

Psychologist family therapist

Iā€™m a registered psychologist and qualified family therapist with experience in Child Protection, Disability Services, Family Support, child emotional-behavioural support, Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), management, research, writing, professional development, and consultancy.

My ambition is to make a meaningful contribution to improving the life experience of children experiencing adversity, their families, and the professionals who support them.

I was the lead author of The Key Worker: Resources for Early Childhood Intervention professionals and creator of the Key Worker Online Course which has now been undertaken by over 1,800 professionals internationally.

In 2022 I completed a PhD which explored how ECI professionals can improve the attachment security of children with a disability or developmental delay. I have published several articles in peer reviewed journals and presented internationally on this topic. I have drafted a book (currently under review) to support professionals in improving the attachment security of children with a disability or developmental delay and am in the process of developing an online course.
